India’s reaction was sluggish at first, losing three wickets for just 79 runs in 17.2 overs. The match was eventually turned back in the Indian team’s favour because to a strong connection between Shreyas Iyer and Sanju Samson.
While the hosts did succeed in regaining control of the game to create a suspenseful conclusion, Patel’s stunning 35-ball 64 helped India win the match. Three boundaries and five sixes were part of the all-rounder’s innings.
