India currently holds a 1-0 lead in the five-match T20 series against the West Indies. Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Dinesh Karthik led India???s batting charge before the spin bowlers dominated the West Indies batters and helped India win by 68 runs.
The second T20I is being played in St Kitts. The game was scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. IST, but it got delayed by 3 hours since the luggage of the players had not yet arrived in St Kitts.
The toss eventually happened at 10:30 PM IST and the match began at 11:00 PM IST. Interestingly the game is still a 20-over game. No overs have been lost because of the delay. Much of it is due to the fact that the game began at 1 PM in the afternoon, local time.
The Indian Team Made Just One Change In The Playing XI:
West Indies won the toss and chose to field first. India made one change with Avesh Khan coming in place of Ravi Bishnoi. Harshal Patel couldn???t be considered for the game because of an injury as per an update shared by the BCCI.
???Team News ??? Harshal Patel has a rib injury and is unavailable for selection for the 2nd and 3rd T20I. He is being monitored by the BCCI medical team???, the tweet from the Board read.
