Ruturaj Gaikwad is the first Indian player on this list. Since Shikhar Dhawan is the skipper of India in IND vs ZIM ODI series and will play in all three games, he will be one of the openers for India.

Shubman Gill won the player of the series award in the previous ODI series against West Indies and might get more opportunities as an opener. Hence, Gaikwad might have to warm the bench in all three games against Zimbabwe.

2. Rahul Tripathi

Rahul Tripathi is another player on this list. Tripathi is an uncapped player who has not played a single international game so far. Kishan has played many T20I games for India but has only played 3 ODI games. In the IND vs ZIM ODI series too, Samson might be picked as a wicketkeeper in all three games and Kishan might have to warm the bench throughout the series.
