Delhi Capitals (DC) captain Rishabh Pant’s girlfriend, Isha Negi, was spotted enjoying from the stands when the wicketkeeper-batsman was smashing consecutive boundaries to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) mystery spinner, Maheesh Theekshana, in the IPL 2022.

The 55th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 is being played between MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals (DC) on Sunday, May 8 at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai.

Delhi Capitals, while chasing the target lost the wicket of opener KS Bharat for 8 in the second over. DC’s man in-form David Warner, who is the highest run-getter for the side in the Indian Premier League 2022, was also dismissed by Theekshana on the second ball of the 5th over, which led to Pant’s arrival at the crease.

Pant came to bat with an aggressive mindset and he played a pull shot on the third ball of the over but was beaten by the pace and was unable to score any run.

However, on the 4th, 5th and 6th ball of the mystery spinner’s over Pant smashed back-to-back terrific-looking boundaries to help DC reach 48-2 after 5 overs.

Meanwhile, Pant’s girlfriend Isha Negi, who was once again present in the stands during the match, was enjoying the batting of the Delhi Capitals captain when he smashed a hat-trick of fours to the mystery spinner.

Earlier, CSK openers Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad had an amazing 110 runs partnership. Ruturaj scored 41 runs and Conway’s innings ended at 87 runs off 49 balls, including 7 fours and 5 sixes.

In the end, CSK lost quick wickets but Shivam Dube and MS Dhoni’s cameo knocks helped Chennai Super Kings post 208/6 on the board.
