The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) did not change their lineup for last night’s IPL 2022 match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore, according to Aakash Chopra.

CSK, who have lost their first four games in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League, have chosen to field the same XI that faced Sunrisers Hyderabad in their last match. The strategy worked as they beat RCB by 23 runs for their first win of the competition.

The Super Kings’ decision to continue with their last match’s lineup perplexed Aakash Chopra. He stated, ”

“There was no change in Chennai. I was startled because I expected them to make some adjustments. After all, they haven’t been able to win in four games in a row. They changed the method they play, not the team.”

Aakash Chopra reflected on the Chennai Super Kings’ batting effort, pointing out that they had gotten off to a slow start. Chopra elaborated:

“They did not get off to a good start; in fact, it was slow at first, with Chennai crawling. Ruturaj Gaikwad was ejected after a terrible shot, and he didn’t have another good knock after that. He was accompanied by Robin Uthappa, who had a poor start as well.”

Robbie and Shivam Dube performed admirably: Aakash Chopra

Aakash Chopra praised Shivam Dube and Robin Uthappa for leading Chennai Super Kings to victory.

Chopra continued, “And it was at this point when the game changed. Whether it was Shivam Dube or Robin Uthappa, all the bowlers were dismissed. Uthappa stated that he has more cricket in him and that he is a unique talent. Robbie was fantastic, and Shivam Dube performed a fantastic job. CSK were bowled out for 216 runs after losing four wickets.”

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) beat Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 23 runs at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai, giving them their first victory in the IPL 2022.
