Ravindra Jadeja, the captain of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), has disclosed that his team will be anxious for a win over SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the DY Patil Stadium later on Saturday, which will provide the team the “momentum” to go back on the right track in the new season.

The four-time champions are currently eighth in the 10-team IPL 2022 after three losses in three games, just ahead of five-time champions Mumbai Indians, who are ninth with the same number of losses.

So far in the campaign, the two teams have met 16 times, with CSK winning 12 times and the Sunrisers winning four. After a six-day break following their last game against the Punjab Kings, CSK would have been well-rested. The team participated in bonding activities in addition to training and practice.

Both Super Kings and Hyderabad are looking for their first IPL 2022 victory. In the first three games, Dhoni, Robin Uthappa, and Shivam Dube have all produced half-centuries for CSK.

Dwayne Bravo has five wickets from three games, while Dwaine Pretorius has four wickets from two games. With statistics of 2/23, Chris Jordan made a good start for the Super Kings against the Punjab Kings.

In T20 cricket it’s a matter of one match: Ravindra Jadeja

“In T20 cricket, it’s just one game.” When you win one match, you get momentum. Because all of our players are so seasoned, you don’t need to explain anyone anything because everyone knows their game. One win will put us on the right track and give us the rhythm we need. “We’re putting in a lot of effort,” Ravindra Jadeja stated before the match.

In the tournament, Ravindra Jadeja will play his 150th game for CSK. Only two CSK cricketers have achieved the feat for the four-time IPL champions: former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni (217 matches) and Suresh Raina (200 matches).
