CSK vs SRH: Twitter Trolls Captain Ravindra Jadeja Following CSK 8-Wicket Loss To SRH

No one imagined before the start of the Indian Premier League 2022 season that Chennai Super Kings would be at the bottom of the table after playing their first 4 games. They have played 4 and lost all 4 under their new leader Ravindra Jadeja. Jadeja after their most recent loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad was trolled on Twitter vehemently.

MS Dhoni who was retained for 12 Cr by CSK was expected to lead the franchise as was indicated by the management after last season’s victory. But MS Dhoni stepped down as captain just prior to 48 hours before CSK’s first game.

It Hasn’t Been The Best Of Starts For Ravindra Jadeja The Captain

Dhoni handed over the captaincy to Ravindra Jadeja. It was believed that Jadeja would be able to lead his team well under the guidance of Dhoni. But not only has Jadeja’s captaincy been under the scanner, but some experts have also called out MS Dhoni for influencing decision making on the field.

It all came crashing down when Shivam Dube was handed over the penultimate against Lucknow Super Giants. Jadeja was trolled then, and he is being trolled now after losing 4th consecutive game as the captain.

Fans on the internet are making all kinds of memes and want Jadeja to win at least one match for CSK.

Some fans have even demanded that Dhoni takes back the charge from Jadeja and leads the team for the remainder of the season.

It remains to be seen how Jadeja and the 4-time champions respond to the situation. The last time CSK lost 4 games in a row was way back in 2010. They went on to win the trophy that season for the very first time. That season started CSK’s dominance in the IPL as they went on to win the IPL in 2011 as well. They also won the erstwhile Champions League T20.
