5. Mohammed Shami

Mohammed Shami is the first Indian pacer who can fetch the highest bid during IPL 2022 auction. Shami was part of Punjab Kings in IPL 2021 but the franchise did not retain him for the next season. The right-arm pacer gave a spectacular show in IPL 2021, picking 19 wickets in 14 games at an average of 20.78 and economy of 7.50.

4. Deepak Chahar

Deepak Chahar was part of Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2021. He bowled a few brilliant spells during IPL 2021. The right-arm pacer also makes it to the national side in the T20Is. In IPL 2021, he scalped 14 wickets in 15 games at an average of 32.21. Chahar is a promising pace bowler and many franchises will be ready to shell out huge sums of money for the pacer during IPL 2022 auction.

3. Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is another Indian pacer who can attract expensive deals in IPL 2022 auction. The right-arm pacer is a regular member of the national team in the limited-overs format. In IPL 2021, he was part of Sunrisers Hyderabad. He scalped 6 wickets in 11 games. However, post the tournament, he showed good form in T20 World Cup 2021 and India vs New Zealand T20I series.

2. Avesh Khan

Avesh Khan gave a fabulous performance in IPL 2021 while playing for Delhi Capitals. The right-arm pacer bagged 24 wickets in 16 games at an average of 18.75. He also finished as the 2nd highest wicket-taker in the tournament. Delhi Capitals did not retain Avesh Khan in the squad for the next season. As a result, many franchises will definitely target the Indian pacer in IPL 2022 auction.

1. Harshal Patel

Harshal Patel was the star bowler of IPL 2021. The right-arm pacer gave an impeccable performance in the tournament while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Patel scalped 32 wickets in 15 games, equalling the record for most wickets by a bowler in an IPL season. He bowled at an average of 14.32 and economy rate of 8.14. Harshal Patel is not retained by RCB and he will one of the favourite pacers for franchises during IPL 2022 auction.
