Faf du Plessis is the first South African player who can definitely fetch the highest deal during IPL 2022 auction. Playing for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2021, he gave an impeccable batting performance. The right-handed batsman slammed 633 runs in 16 games and finished as the second-highest run-getter in the tournament. Plessis also slammed 6 fifties at a batting average of 45.21.

4. Kagiso Rabada

Kagiso Rabada is another player in this list. The South African pacer was part of the Delhi Capitals in IPL 2021. Playing 15 games, he scalped 15 wickets at an average of 30.40. In the 2020 season, Rabada finished as the top wicket-taker in the tournament.
