IPL 2022: Have Complete Faith In Gautam Gambhir's Judgement- Lucknow Super Giants Owner Sanjiv Goenka

Lucknow Super Giants owner Sanjiv Goenka said that he has complete faith in Gautam Gambhir’s judgement. Gautam Gambhir is the mentor of the Lucknow Super Giants team. It is one of the newbies in IPL 2022.

The team is owned by the RPSG group, whose owned is Sanjiv Goenka. The team will be led by KL Rahul in IPL 2022. It has some big names like Marcus Stoinis, Jason Holder, Avesh Khan, Quinton De Kock, Dushmantha Chameera among others.

Have Complete Faith In Gautam Gambhir’s Judgement: Sanjiv Goenka

While speaking to PTI, Lucknow Super Giants owner Sanjiv Goenka said that his principle is to hire the right kind of people. He also said that he has complete faith in Gautam Gambhir’s judgement.

“I run my businesses on a simple principle. Hire the right kind of people for the right job and good execution. That’s 80 percent of the job done. There is 15 percent of strategizing, vision, and creating a structure. This is 95 per cent and the remaining five per cent is all about motivating the team.”

“A lot of my job became easier when Gautam agreed to my request of being the mentor of this team. I have known him for a long time and I have complete faith in his judgement,” Sanjiv Goenka said.

IPL 2022 is set to commence on March 26. In the opening game, Chennai Super Kings will lock horns with Kolkata Knight Riders. The venue of the clash is Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. 10 teams will play a total of 74 matches in IPL 2022.

Lucknow Super Giants will start their IPL 2022 journey with the match against the other newbies Gujarat Titans. The match will take place on March 28 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
