IPL 2022: Sourav Ganguly Sure About Virat Kohli And Rohit Sharma Getting Back In Form

BCCI president Sourav Ganguly accepts that Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will be back in the scoring form sooner than later, and despite the fact that he conceded that he doesn’t have the foggiest idea what is turning out badly for the former India captain with regards to his batting, however, he trusts that Kohli will recapture his form. “They are great players and I am sure they will get back in form. I hope they start scoring runs soon. I don’t know what is going on in Virat Kohli’s head but I am sure he will regain his form and get some good runs. He is a great player.”

Have To Upgrade Eden Gardens: Sourav Ganguly

With IPL 2022 playoffs scheduled to be played at the Eden Gardens, Saurav Ganguly talks about the plans that are being put in place by CAB for the games.

“We have to increase the capacity of Eden Gardens. Now it’s [the capacity] around 67,000 and we have to make it 1 Lakh. Eden Gardens is an old stadium and we have to upgrade it.”

So far 41 matches have been played in this season of the IPL. Newcomer Gujarat Titans are sitting at the top of the points table with 14 points from 7 wins in 8 games. Last year’s champions Chennai Super Kings and 5-time Champs Mumbai Indians have been struggling so far with the latter yet to win its first game after playing 8 matches.
