IPL 2022: The Chants Of Sachin- Sachin Is Special To Me: Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin Tendulkar celebrated his 49th birthday on 24th April 2022. Sachin Tendulkar is arguably the biggest name in Indian cricket and it’s not only the master blaster who celebrates his birthday, the whole nation celebrates his birthday along with him.

It was no different on 24th April this year. Sachin celebrated his birthday but so did many of his fans. He received numerous birthday wishes on social media. One of which was shared by Rajasthan Royals. It was a wish unique in its own ways.

Rajasthan Royals posted a pic of Sachin Tendulkar and a poster of chants with ‘Sachin Sachin-Sachin’…on Twitter and wrote, “This is a love story, Happy Birthday Sachin”.

Sachin responded to that tweet three days later as he tweeted, “Those chants are always special for me”.

Sachin after his final Test at Wankhede Stadium said, ‘The memories you have left with me will always be with me forever and ever, especially “Sachin, Sachin” which will reverberate in my ears till I stop breathing.’

So it’s no surprise that Sachin is so close to these chants.

When Sachin was interviewed by Star Sports during one of the Mumbai Indians games in IPL 2022, the stadium had once again erupted with chants of Sachin-Sachin.

Mumbai Indians played against Lucknow Super Giants on 24th April but they lost their 8th game of the season and failed to give Sachin his birthday present. The loss came courtesy of a second consecutive century for KL Rahul against MI this season.

Sachin even after retirement from International Cricket has played cricket in tournaments like Road Safety Series and helped his fans relive the old times. Sachin is the leading run-scorer in international cricket with over 33,000 runs in all the three formats of the game.
