“With Better Leg-Spin I Will Be Able To Confuse The Batters More”

Ravi Bishnoi told Star Sports that he is working on his leg breaks. “I am working on my leg-spin as well because I feel I will be able to confuse the batters even more if that gets added to my bowling. I am trying, it will definitely come one day.”

Bishnoi was also asked about how did he manage to do well on a wicket where other bowers found it tough, to this Bishnoi said that since the ball was skidding onto the wicket he planned to bowl short of length deliveries. According to him, batters were finding it hard to hit that length. “I stuck to my plans, I tried to bowl back of the length so that they have to play a good shot to hit from there, “he said.

When asked about the role Gautam Gambhir is playing in the team as the mentor, Bishnoi told the broadcasters that Gambhir has been very supportive. He said, “There is feedback from his side, he spoke to me yesterday as well, what I am feeling, how I am planning to bowl. His presence is helping us a lot and he told me to take my time before bowling my deliveries.”

Bishnoi would hope to continue the same form going ahead in the season.
