MI vs CSK: "Need To Go After Jasprit Bumrah And Put Pressure On Rohit Sharma," Brad Hogg Said Of MI's Troubles

Brad Hogg, a former Australian left-arm wrist-spinner, reckons the Mumbai Indians (MI), who have won the IPL five times, are in danger in IPL 2022. Mumbai has lost all six games so far and will play Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Thursday, April 21 in a must-win match.
Jasprit Bumrah, according to the 51-year-old, is MI’s sole true wicket-taker. As a result, Hogg believes the opposition should target the speedster to order to put skipper Rohit Sharma under a lot of strain.
Dewald Brevis, an 18-year-old wonder, has been perhaps one of MI’s few bright spots so far in the IPL 2022 season. Brevis has been assigned to his favorite No. 3 place in Mumbai’s batting order, and the kid has already displayed flashes of brilliance.
Even though he has yet to play a major knock. Brevis has a strike rate of 172.06 and has scored 117 runs in four games.
Maybe we need to take on Jasprit Bumrah tomorrow: Brad Hogg
Brad Hogg had this to say regarding MI’s struggles this season:
“I believe the wheels are falling off for the Mumbai Indians. If I were in the opposition, I would suggest that we face Bumrah tomorrow and apply pressure on Rohit Sharma. Both are excellent leaders, but pressure can get to you.”
Brad Hogg also discussed how both Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah’s body language in their previous game demonstrated why Mumbai is at the bottom of the points table. He continued,
“There was a dropped catch, and Rohit’s actions became more extreme, culminating in an overthrow from Bumrah, where he put his hands on his head and slumped to the ground. That’s not ideal when you’re trying to instill a long-standing culture in new employees. MI will have to keep a close eye on the situation.”
Mumbai have lost all six of their games so far and now play arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings in a must-win match.
