RR vs DC: Rajasthan Royals Should Look To Seal The Playoff Place Against Delhi Capitals: Irfan Pathan

Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan feels that Rajasthan Royals should look to seal the playoff spot against Delhi Capitals.
RR already have 14 points from 11 games and if they win one of their remaining games, they should be able to make it to last-4.

RR have never played an IPL final after their win in the inaugural edition. This time Jos Buttler and Yuzvendra Chahal lead the orange cap and purple cap list respectively and the team overall has shown great potential. Pathan, therefore, feels that the franchise should not leave it to their next game.
“RR should look to win the match against Delhi Capitals and secure their playoffs berth, they shouldn’t leave it to the next game. They have the best bowler in the ongoing tournament in Yuzvendra Chahal. They have Jos Buttler – who is the best batsman of this season. The duo of Chahal and Buttler are holding the Purple and Orange Cap which speaks volumes about the kind of form these two players have been in.”

Delhi Capitals haven’t been in the best of forms this season. They have had a stop-start season where they have struggled on the field. But they have had to face various hardships off the field as well, with various Covid scares. Injuries and illness to some of their star players have not helped their cause either.
If DC has to qualify they need to win their remaining 3 games irrespective of the results in the other games. The Rishabh Pant led side would hope to get a win under their belt against RR.
