Manoj Tiwary has urged for Hardik Pandya to be strongly contemplated for the white-ball leadership in the Indian team after seeing the all-rounder guide the Gujarat Titans club to the top of the IPL 2022 standings following 5 matches.
Hardik Pandya, who has already established himself as a brilliant all-rounder, is doing an outstanding job as a captain at GT.
Hardik Pandya continued to prove the skeptics with a brilliant all-around performance as Gujarat Titans upset Rajasthan Royals to take a lead in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 standings on Thursday.
Former India cricketer Manoj Tiwary has requested for Hardik to be strongly contemplated for white-ball captaincy in the national squad after seeing him lead his club from the front.
Following Virat Kohli’s decision to step down as India’s T20I captain, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) named Rohit Sharma as the new limited-overs captain. In a few years, though, the Men in Blue may have to move on from the Hitman, who is currently 34 years old.
Hardik Captaincy is praised by Manoj Tiwary:
Manoj Tiwary has no concerns that Hardik will be a fantastic fit for the post based on how he has led his team in the IPL 2022 so far.
“If ever there is a debate on who is going to replace or in competition for Captaining team India in the shorter format then it has to be @hardikpandya Yes whatever little I have seen of him in this #IPL as far his leadership skill is concerned, I’m damn impressed with it #RRvGT”, Tiwary tweeted.

The Gujarat Titans were not one of the pre-season favorites to win the IPL, but the team has performed admirably thus far. With four wins in five games, GT has proven many people wrong and wowed the Indian cricketing world with their outstanding performance. Hardik, the skipper, is the glue that holds this team together.
Given that this is a T20 World Cup year, Hardik will undoubtedly return to the Indian team if he stays fit.
