Rituraj Gaikwad has been the standout player for them. He has top-scored for the team in both the games and this is a positive sign for CSK. Faf du Plessis is their leading run-getter. Their return to form could make this side an improbable batting unit.

Shubman Gill has complimented him really well. The duo was prolific against RCB. Shubman, however, got out early against MI but Iyer went on to score a half-century. Rahul Tripathi, also played a blistering 74-run knock off 42 balls, including 8 fours and 3 sixes.
