Rohit has led the team from the middle of 2013 IPL and he has already won five IPL titles after taking over the captaincy reigns. He is one of the best in the business when it comes to limited-overs cricket and has some amazing numbers in the T20 format for India. He missed few games in the last IPL due to injury.

The 33-year-old has played 200 IPL games and has scored 5230 runs in his IPL career. He has been superb with his field placements and decision making and it is hard to stop him when he gets going with the bat. A lot will be expected out of him this season too opening the bat with Quinton De Kock.

Suryakumar Yadav has been a silent performer for the Mumbai Indians in the last two seasons and he has got the numbers to back his ability. He started as a fine finisher for the Kolkata Knight Riders but moved to the top order for Mumbai Indians which has brought in a lot of variety. He keeps the scoreboard ticking and can hit the big shots.

He recently made his international debut for India in the T20 series against England and showed a lot of promise in the two innings he has played. He plays a lot of unorthodox shots and is never afraid to take on the bowlers. He becomes the surprise package for the opponents with his quickfire batting.

Hardik Pandya probably has been the most improved player from the Mumbai Indians and has been sensational in the last two years for the Mumbai Indians. He has moved around the crease and has been smashing it all over the ground which has been a great headache for the opponents.

He has played the finisher role to perfect for the Mumbai Indians and can be very destructive at the end. Apart from the batting, he has bowled the crucial overs for Mumbai in the death and he has the knack of breaking partnerships too. He is a great find for the franchise and provides the X factor in the team.

Bumrah has been the number one bowler for Mumbai as his four overs have been very crucial. The captain has always used him very wisely and he has led the pace attack for India as well as the franchise. He has been in great form in the last IPL and finished as the second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 27 wickets in 15 games.

Bumrah’s ability to hit the yorkers makes him a great asset in the team. He has played 92 IPL games so far and has picked up 109 wickets at an average of 23.7. He has been very effective due to his unorthodox action and he hits the deck hard too making the batsman really hard to play.
