Delhi Capitals (DC) players Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer recently shared some fond memories of playing cricket from their childhood days. On Thursday, the franchise shared a video on their Twitter account, in which the two players went down memory lane, recalling their days of playing gully cricket.
Rishabh Pant, the current DC skipper, revealed that while playing in his native, Roorkee, he and his friends used to create stumps out of bricks that they picked up from nearby construction sites. He also funnily revealed that he used to run away with his bat after getting out.
Meanwhile, DC are placed second on the points table having acquired 16 points in 11 games. They have had a thumping season so far, sweeping aside teams in dominant fashion. Next, they will take on the Mumbai Indians, who defeated them in the final last season. The match will take place in Sharjah on Saturday afternoon.
