Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Delhi Capitals (DC) are currently the two teams leading the charts in IPL 2021.
Both the teams are giving a tough fight to each other to stay at the top of the points table in each match they play.
CSK is looking better side among the two: Ajay Jadeja
CSK under the steward leadership of MS Dhoni have won three IPL titles whereas Delhi Capitals are yet to win the IPL trophy.
Delhi Capitals saw a captaincy change this year as Rishabh Pant took over the reins from Shreyas Iyer, who was ruled out of the first half of the tournament due to a shoulder injury.
Former Indian batsman Ajay Jadeja picked CSK as the better side amongst the two teams.
“I think Chennai is still looking for the better side among the two, although Delhi is also doing really well. Delhi sometimes get rushed in a big game like we saw today with their batting. Semi-final, final are one-game shoot-outs, and Chennai have immense experience of crunch game,” Jadeja said on Cricbuzz.
MS Dhoni’s tactics and strategies proved to be a lot of help for CSK players: Pragyan Ojha
Former Mumbai Indians bowler Pragyan Ojha had a similar view to that of Jadeja and pointed out that Dhoni was the difference between the two sides.
“If you take out one man (MS Dhoni) from that team, then you’ll see the difference. His tactics and strategies proved to be a lot of help for his players. In crunch games, experience counts a lot, and if you look at Dhoni and Pant, the former knows how to absorb pressure better and how to play mind games against the opposition,” Ojha said.
With 16 points from 10 matches, CSK are leading the group stage of IPL 2021. CSK will face Delhi Capitals on October 2 at the Dubai International Stadium.
