Former Pakistan Cricketer Salman Butt lashed out at MS Dhoni for coming ahead of Jadeja in the batting order despite Jadeja’s good form with the bat in recent times. MS Dhoni hasn’t been at his best in the last few IPL games and it is clearly evident in the way he has been dismissing.
Ravindra Jadeja on the other hand has been in supreme form and he should have been promoted up the order. Jadeja has already won games for CSK from difficult situations and looks like India will be highly benefited by his inclusion in the T20 Worldcup. He has been great with the ball as well and is number one on the Most Valuable players.
“It’s Beyond Comprehension” – Salman Butt Points Out Dhoni’s Tactical Error
Salman Butt was quick to notice the tactical error that MS Dhoni has done by promoting himself up the order and it has highly impacted the team’s performance as well. Butt mentioned that Jadeja should have come up the order as he is selected for T20 Worldcup and he has been hitting the ball well. He wasn’t satisfied by Dhoni’s decision.
“Why is MS Dhoni coming before Ravindra Jadeja, who is batting so well? Bravo, Jadeja both are hitting so well. Dhoni will be [a] mentor, will not play for India, so it doesn’t make any sense of him coming before Jadeja. You are now into the playoffs, why dont you give him more practice. It’s beyond comprehension, I dont know what he is thinking and why he is doing this.” Salman Butt told on his Youtube Channel.
CSK Loses Three In A Row
Chennai Super Kings have been outstanding in this IPL so far but are starting to show some signs of weariness as they have lost their last three games in a row. The way they have been humiliated is another big worry and it will not be good signs coming into the playoffs.
CSK is likely to finish in the top two spots in the points table even if RCB wins the game today against DC.
