England all-rounder Sam Curran has finished his mandatory 6-day quarantine ahead of the second leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) which started in the UAE on September 19. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) clashed in the tournament opener in Dubai, a match which Sam Curran missed due to his quarantine.

Chennai Super Kings had to go into their high voltage clash against defending champions Mumbai Indians without the services of Sam Curran, who had been one of the breakout stars of IPL 2020, where he shined with both the bat and the ball.

Despite that CSK defeated MI quite convincingly with Dwayne Bravo performing the role of the all-rounder and performing with both the bat and the ball.

CSK posted photos on social media which saw the likes of Sam Curran, Faf du Plessis, Stephen Fleming, Cheteshwar Pujara, R Sai Kishore, and Karn Sharma practicing under lights.

Sam Curran coming out of quarantine was a piece of good news for the yellow brigade and is expected to be back in the playing XI. He was seen working on his batting and bowling in the nets.
