Virender Sehwag previewed the 50th match of the Indian Premier League ( IPL) 2021 between MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings and Rishabh Pant’s Delhi Capitals which will commence on October 4, on his Facebook Watch show Virugiri Dot Com.

Sehwag talked about the importance of the match for both teams. Despite being qualified CSK and DC don’t have a guaranteed spot in the top 2. However, the winner of the match will almost confirm their slot in the top 2.

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals (DC) will be facing Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the second game of the season, in the previous match Rishabh Pant while making his captaincy debut defeated the MS Dhoni-led CSK. Talking about the match Virender Sehwag said:

Today’s match is between Delhi and Chennai. Sometimes, seeing Pant’s innovation, Dhoni must be saying, (Sehwag shared Hrithik Roshan’s meme from War movie) ‘Woh kabhi mera student hua karta tha ab shaayd wo apne teacher se aage nikal Gaya hai.’ (He was my student once upon a time but now he is ahead of his teacher).”

Sehwag believes that both the teams will be eyeing the top two spots. Also, he reckons that CSK will have an advantage as they Dhoni’s plethora of experience but he opined that Delhi Capitals will once again emerge victorious against CSK in IPL 2021.

Dhoni is Dhoni. Chennai is on top and Delhi is in the second position. Both teams would like to finish in the top two because they will have an advantage in the playoffs. Even if they lose one match, then they have another chance. It seems today Delhi will win,” Virender Sehwag concluded.
