IPL 2021: Updated Squads Of All The 8 Teams After Withdrawals And Replacements For The UAE Leg. The much-awaited second phase of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 is just a few days away. The marquee tournament is scheduled to begin on September 19 with a high-profile clash between two of the favorites to win the tournament; MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings ( CSK ) and Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians.

Notably, all the remaining matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 are scheduled to take place in United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to the Covid-19 scare in India. Previously, fans were able to witness 29 nail-biting encounters between the teams in the first phase of the tournament in India, However unfortunately the tournament was suspended after the virus spread across various IPL teams.

When the first phase of the Indian Premier League ended Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals were at the top of the points table with 6 victories in 8 games. Meanwhile, following them on the standings were MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) with 10 points each. Team Delhi Capitals have made one forced change for the second phase of the Indian Premier League 2021. English all-rounder Chris Woakes has decided to pull out of the second phase of the Indian Premier League 2021 UAE Leg. Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals have bought Australian all-rounder Ben Dwarshuis as Woakes replacement.

Notably, RCB has made plenty of changes for the second phase of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 as in total 5 players have either pulled out or suffered an injury. Wanindu Hasaranga and Dushmantha Chameera have replaced Adam Zampa and Daniel Sams. Meanwhile, Tim David and George Garton have replaced Finn Allen and Kane Richardson. Rajasthan Royals is one franchise that has faced a huge blow in the absence of some of the top players. The biggest investments of the franchise, Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes, and Jofra Archer won’t be providing their services to the team.

As Buttler has withdrawn his name from the tournament. Jofra Archer is injured and ruled out for an entire year and Ben Stokes is on a break to focus on his mental well-being. Also, Andrew Tye will be missing the second phase of the Indian Premier League 2021.

The Eoin Morgan-led franchise had a miserable run in the first phase of the Indian Premier League ( IPL ) 2021 despite having champion players in the team. They will be hoping for a better outcome in the UAE leg of the tournament.

Notably, the fierce Australian pacer Pat Cummins will not be available for selection in the second phase of the Indian Premier League 2021 as he has withdrawn his name to spend some time with his family. Meanwhile, The veteran Kiwi Pacer Tim Southee has come in as a replacement for Cummins.

Team Sunrisers Hyderabad performed terribly in the India leg of the Indian Premier League 2021. Previously they were entering the tournament as favorites to win the championship.

However, everything was messed up in the team, as they faced back-to-back losses and were placed at the 8th spot in the points table when the tournament got suspended. Notably, they were able to win only 1 game out of 7 matches in the league. Also, David Warner was removed from captaincy and Kane Williamson was made captain.

Meanwhile, The explosive wicket-keeper batsman Jonny Bairstow won’t be providing his services to Sunrisers Hyderabad in the second phase of the Indian Premier League 2021. So Sherfane Rutherford has been bought by the franchise as Bairstow’s replacement.
