The former England captain Michael Vaughan who is known for posting some offensive and controversial tweets has come up with a tweet regarding Sunrisers Hyderabad Left-arm pacer T Natarajan getting tested positive for Covid-19 during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 United Arab Emirates (UAE) leg.

Notably, The left-arm seamer of team Sunrisers Hyderabad T Natarajan has been tested positive and is in isolation, fortunately, he is currently asymptomatic. Also, it has been revealed that there were as many as six people in close contact with the pacer and they are in isolation.

Among the six players who are in close contact with T Natarajan one of them is all-rounder Vijay Shankar and the others are managers and a net bowler.

After the news broke out other players of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) underwent RT-PCR tests and fortunately, all the players returned with a COVID-19 negative report. So the 33rd match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is still on.

Let’s see if the IPL gets cancelled like the last Test: Michael Vaughan

Notably, ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, team India was in England for the 5-match Test series. However, the last match of the series was called off after the Covid-19 scare in the Indian camp. As the junior physio Yogesh Parmar was found positive for Covid-19 and several players were in close contact with him and they were hesitant to play the 5th Test which led to the cancellation of the series.

Meanwhile, talking about this cancellation Michael Vaughan has written on his official Twitter handle that he feels that the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 UAE leg won’t be cancelled like the 5th Test match. Michael Vaughan wrote:

Let’s see if the IPL gets cancelled like the last Test !!!!! I guarantee it won’t be … #OnOn
