Rajasthan Royals are currently placed in the 6th spot in the points table with 3 victories in 7 games. However, they have faced a huge blow heading into the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 UAE leg, as big names like Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer and Jos Buttler are not available and they were forced to bring replacements.

I would like to say that I have the biggest match-winner sitting alongside me. So, I don’t have any worries. There is no pressure. We all love and enjoy playing with Chris. With Chris in our side, I feel that happy days are ahead of us,” Samson told reporters at a virtual press conference

Chris Morris has told that he will play his part as an experienced campaigner for Rajasthan Royals and his job is to keep the players calm during the match. Further Morris added that he will keep providing suggestions and inputs to Sanju Samson during the games.

My role as an experienced player is to keep the guys calm. I will stand at mid-on or mid-off and have a chat with the other bowlers. If I pick something up, I will relay the message to Sanju. I have been doing this role for the whole of my career. Irrespective of whether the other experienced guys are there or not in the team, I do it. I will definitely help Sanju,” Morris said.

Chris Morris and skipper Sanju Samson will be seen in action when Rajasthan Royals (RR) lock horns with Punjab Kings (PBKS) at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, September 21.
