The defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) are all set to lock horns against CSK on 31st March. According to multiple reports, it is assumed that MS Dhoni bid adieu to IPL after this edition. CSK had a disastrous IPL 2022 where they finished in 9th place and MS Dhoni was appointed skipper in the latter half.

This time, CSK have got a lethal all-rounder present in the form of Ben Stokes. CSK head coach Mike Hussey has made it clear that Ben Stokes would play as a specialist batter for some time but his presence would be quite invaluable in the middle overs against the spinners.

Aakash Chopra was seen speaking on his YouTube channel where he made a huge statement about MS Dhoni. Aakash Chopra was quite optimistic that CSK would make it to the playoffs. Aakash Chopra also pointed out that the atmosphere at Chepauk would be electrifying as two stands are re-opened.

“I think CSK should qualify for the top four, given their home games in Chennai. It will be a disservice to MS Dhoni and what he has achieved if the final chapter of his playing career ends on a poor note,” said Aakash Chopra.

“The two stands which were closed will now be opened and the entire stadium will be jam-packed for what could be a possible farewell for MS Dhoni. Chennai will keep on whistling, but the entire country will also want to see the potential last bits of cricket from Dhoni,” he added.
