Gujarat Titans (GT) are currently locking horns in Qualifier 2 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 against Mumbai Indians at the Narendra Modi International Stadium. On account of Shubman Gill’s 129, the defending champions posted a total of 233 runs on the board.

While chasing the target, Mumbai Indians lost early wickets and were under immense pressure. But their MVP Suryakumar Yadav kept them in the hunt with his flamboyant innings and played some magnificent strokes all over the park.

He stitched crucial partnerships with Tilak Varma (43) and Cameron Green (30) to keep the hops of MI fans alive. Suryakumar Yadav smashed a gritty half-century and took his side close to the target but unfortunately couldn’t finish the game for them as was back in the hut in the 15th over.

Suryakumar Yadav tried to ramp the full delivery from Mohit Sharma over the shirt fine area. But he missed the ball completely as it went on to hit the pads first and then went on to rattle the leg stump.

Suryakumar Yadav ended with a knock of 61 runs in 38 balls. But after that, Mumbai Indians lost wickets in clusters and were bundled out for just 171 runs to lose the game by 62 runs.
