In Tim Southee and Umesh Yadav, KKR have two good new ball bowlers. KKR traded Lockie Ferguson back who generally bowls as the first change for his national side. In Chris Jordan, KKR will get an out-and-out specialist death bowler.

His performances in his last two T20Is for England show why he is trusted by his teammates to get the job done. With a remaining purse of INR 7.50 crores and three overseas slots available, Chris Jordan should be one of KKR’s targets although he has registered himself for INR 2 Crores-the maximum base price bracket in IPL 2023 auctions.
