IPL 2023: 5 PBKS Players Who Will Play All The Matches Of The Season.  Punjab Kings broke the IPL Auction record with their purchase of England all-rounder Sam Curran for a whopping INR 18.5 crore. They followed it up with a smart purchase for Zimbabwean all-rounder Sikandar Raza for INR 50 lakh.

The 2014 finalists however opted for a frugal approach, signing a total of just 6 players. PBKS goes back with more than INR 12 crore in spare. Punjab Kings were expected to dominate proceedings coming into the auction with the second-biggest purse.

Shikhar Dhawan

In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, which was his first season with the PBKS, Shikhar Dhawan scored 460 runs in 14 matches at an average of 38.33 and a strike rate of 122.66, including 3 half-centuries.

Shikhar Dhawan, who is the second-highest run-getter in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL), was bought by the PBKS franchise at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 mega auction for INR 8.25 crores.

Punjab Kings (PBKS) have officially announced that the veteran opener Shikhar Dhawan will be replacing Mayank Agarwal as the captain of the franchise from the IPL 2023.

Jonny Bairstow

Jonny Bairstow, the England opener, scored 253 runs in 11 IPL 2022 games averaging 23 at a strike rate of 144.75. PBKS brought him on board for INR 6.75 Crore in IPL 2022 auction. He will open again in IPL 2023.

Sam Curran

Sam Curran, the most expensive buy in the IPL 2023 auction, an England all-rounder and T20 World Cup 2022 man of the tournament, had played for Punjab Kings previously in IPL 2019, where he scored 95 runs in 9 games averaging 23.75 and took 10 scalps averaging 32.3 including a 4/11.

He didn’t play in IPL 2022 due to injury and played for CSK in IPL 2020 and IPL 2021. Overall, he has scored 337 runs averaging 22.47 in 32 matches besides taking 32 scalps averaging 31.09.

Kagiso Rabada

Kagiso Rabada, the Proteas pacer,  played only in IPL 2022 for Punjab Kings and picked 23 scalps in 13 games averaging 17.65 including a 4 wicket haul-4/33.

Arshdeep Singh

Arshdeep Singh, Punjab in form pacer, who has done well for India in his debut year 2022, has represented only Punjab Kings in IPL since 2019. In IPL 2021, he picked 18 scalps in 12 games, and in IPL 2022, he picked 10 scalps in 14 games. Overall, he has picked 40 scalps in 37 games averaging 26.35.
