Left-arm bowler Ravi Kumar is well-known in Bengal cricket circles as a talented player. He gained notoriety during the Under 19 World Cup earlier this year, as he caused chaos with the ball. He secured a total of 10 wickets in six matches at an exceptional economy of 3.66 while serving as India’s primary new ball striker.

Ravi was at his best when India Under 19 and England Under 19 squared off in the decisive final. His flawless four-wicket performance made sure that England’s total score of 189 runs was kept to a minimum.

The 19-year-old made his domestic debut in the just-finished Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022, and his remarkable performances attracted a lot of attention. In his three appearances, Ravi took four wickets for an economy of 7.40.

The IPL market is constantly looking for left-arm pacers because they add diversity to a team’s bowling assault. Additionally, several teams could be interested in selecting Ravi during the auction because of his recent exceptional performance with the ball.

Dinesh Bana

At the Under 19 World Cup, Dinesh Bana was team India’s go-to wicketkeeper batter. The 17-year-old took his place in the bottom middle order and provided his squad with some explosive cameos. In his five appearances, he scored 63 runs at an incredible strike rate of 190.90.

Dinesh destroyed the opposition bowlers when India played Australia in the second semi-final by scoring 20 runs in only four deliveries, ensuring his team’s victory. The Hisar-born player also helped his team win the match against England in the finals with a vital 13 runs off five deliveries.

In SMAT 2022, Bana went on to play eight games for Haryana. The wicketkeeper-batsman scored 114 runs in eight games with a strike rate of 110.67, although he was not at his best. Despite this, he showed some batting prowess. Many IPL teams don’t have backup wicketkeepers, therefore they could consider spending money on Bana for the lucrative T20 competition’s 2023 season.

Nishant Sindhu

Nishant Sindhu was outstanding throughout the Under 19 World Cup. The 18-year-old played in five games and scored 140 runs overall with a 93.33 strike rate. He also made a significant contribution with the ball, taking six wickets for a 3.09 economy rate.

Nishant made a significant impact in the tense final game versus England during the international championship. He displayed incredible poise as he delivered an undefeated inning of 50 runs off 54 deliveries with India three down and the score at 95 to lead his country to a historic U19 World Cup victory.

The Rohtak native has also made a name for himself in a local competition. The southpaw has so far played five first-class matches for Haryana, scoring 319 runs and taking 10 wickets. With his all-around talent, Nishant balances any team, and several IPL sides may put up their paddles to sign him at the forthcoming auction.

Shaik Rasheed

At the prestigious Under 19 tournament in the West Indies, Shaik Rasheed was India’s rock at the top of the order. The Guntur native kept the team’s ship afloat when things got tough and formed alliances to help Dhull and the company attain a respectable total. He kept the innings together and gave his teammates’ strikers space to play freely.

At the Under 19 World Cup, Rasheed played in four games and accumulated 201 runs with an average of 50.25. This includes an important 50 years in the end. The 18-year-old has demonstrated his hitting prowess in domestic competition as well.

Rasheed scored 142 runs at an average of 35.50 in two first-class games for Andhra. Additionally, he performed admirably in the just concluded SMAT 2022, hitting 56 runs over the course of three games, including a match-winning performance of 37* runs off of 27 balls versus Nagaland.

The 18-year-old has a run bank and the ability to bat in both the middle order and top order. Therefore, a number of teams could consider adding the sophisticated batter to their lineup.

Kumar Kushagra

When he struck a score of 250 or more for the first time in first-class cricket earlier this year, Kumar Kushagra created history. The wicketkeeper-batter has amassed a whopping 439 runs at an amazing average of 62.71 in just seven First Class innings.

But his short-format results haven’t lived up to the batter’s promise. In his two T20 innings this year, he could only manage to score 21 runs for the Jharkhand squad.

He competed for India in 2020 Under 19 World Cup in South Africa, appearing in just one match, which he won against Japan without a loss. He had to wait another year before being admitted to Jharkhand’s senior squad.

However, the 18-year-old could be on the radar of multiple IPL sides looking for a wicket-keeper batter for the 15th season of the Indian Premier League
