“Great player” – Sourav Ganguly on David Warner

In a video shared by Delhi Capitals on their official Twitter handle, Sourav Ganguly was asked about his thoughts on David Warner.

“He is really looking forward. I met him in the afternoon. David Warner is fantastic, and always up for it. Great player, so much runs behind him, so much of experience behind him. I will be looking forward to it,” said Sourav Ganguly.

“Ricky Ponting’s fantastic, what a career he has had. You see the intensity. The intensity on the training where James Hopes is there. Good to see Ajit Agarkar, Shane Watson is also there. Pravin Amre works really very hard. It has been good where we just need to turn into the performance now,” said Sourav Ganguly.

DC need to make the most of their home games. The role of Ishant Sharma would be quite pivotal as the veteran speedster will have to guide the youngsters in tough phases. This time, DC have got a dangerous bowling lineup where they can’t be taken lightly. Head coach Ricky Ponting would be slightly worried as this time, there are a lot of doubleheaders where it would be quite tough for players in the scorching heat to perform consistently as we have seen that in IPL, you have to be at the best.
