IPL Auction 2023: 5 Players In The 20 Lakh Base Price Who Can Fetch 20 Times Their Base Price

IPL auction 2023 is set to take place on December 23. The venue of the auction is Kochi in Kerala. IPL Auction 2023 will be a mini-auction as all the franchises were allowed to retain many players in their squad ahead of the auction. A total of 991 players have registered for the mini-auction.

Out of those, 21 players have kept themselves in Rs. 2 crore base price bracket. 10 players have put themselves in Rs. 1. crore band while 24 players have put themselves in Rs. 1 crore band. Shreyas Gopal is the first player on this list. The spin all-rounder was released by Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of IPL auction 2023. The leg spinner is in Rs. 20 lakh base price band in the auction.

Gopal has a lot of experience in Indian Premier League. In 49 games, he has scored 180 runs and also picked 49 wickets. Hence, he is expected to get a good deal in the auction due to his long experience.

4. Dominic Drakes

Dominic Drakes is another player in Rs. 20 lakh band who can fetch a big deal during IPL auction 2023. Dominic Drakes is a Caribbean all-rounder. He was released by Gujarat Titans ahead of the auction.

Last season, he grabbed a massive deal of Rs. 1.10 crores during the auction. He might again earn an expensive deal this time too.

3. Jagadeesha Suchith

Jagadeesha Suchith is another player on this list. Suchith was part of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last season. However, he was released by the franchise ahead of the IPL auction 2023. He is a spin all-rounder who has played 22 games in IPL so far. He accounts for 19 wickets and 70 runs in 10 innings.

2. KS Bharat

KS Bharat is another player on this list. KS Bharat is also part of the Rs. 20 lakh base price in the IPL auction 2023. The wicketkeeper-batsman was picked for a heavy amount of Rs. 2 crores last year.

He was released by Delhi Capitals during IPL 2023 retentions. Bharat also gets chances to be part of the Indian team in the Test series. Hence, he will be a key wicketkeeper option for franchises and hence he can fetch a massive deal this year too.
