Adam Zampa was purchased by Rajasthan Royals during IPL 2023 auction. The franchise bought the spinner for Rs. 1.5 crores. Adam Zampa had kept a base price of Rs. 1.5 crores in IPL 2023 auction.

Adam Zampa is an Australian player. He is a right-arm leg spinner. The 30-year-old player is a regular member of Australia in white-ball formats. Zampa has also played a few games in the Indian Premier League.

Adam Zampa was part of Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2021. He did not play in IPL 2022. In the 2021 season, he did not play any games for the team and also left the tournament midway through the season.

Earlier, Zampa played in IPL 2016, IPL 2017, and IPL 2020. So far, the leg spinner has played 14 games in the tournament. The right-arm spinner has grabbed 21 wickets in 14 games at an average of 17.62 and an economy of 7.74. He has represented teams like Rising Pune Supergiants and Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL.

In T20Is, Zampa has hunted 82 wickets in 72 games at an average of 21.72. He has bowled at an economy of 6.93. Zampa also plays in franchise cricket leagues like The Hundred, Big Bash League, and Caribbean Premier League.
