IPL Auction 2023: Kyle Jamieson Bought By Chennai Super Kings (CSK) For INR 1 Crore

Kyle Jamieson was bought by Chennai Super Kings during IPL 2023 auction. The franchise spent Rs. 1 crore to grab the Kiwi player into their squad. Kyle Jamieson kept a base price of Rs. 1 crore in IPL 023 auction.

Kyle Jamieson is a New Zealand player. He is a right-arm medium-pace bowler who is 27 years old. He has played some games for New Zealand national cricket team and has also played in IPL before.

Kyle Jamieson Was Part Of Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2021

The Kiwi pacer was not part of IPL 2022. However, he played in IPL 2021 for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Jamieson was one of the costliest players in the IPL 2021 auction.

In IPL 2021 season, he played 9 matches for RCB. He scalped 9 wickets in 9 games at an average of 29.88. He held an economy of 9.60. He also scored 65 runs with the bat. However, he was released by the team ahead of the 2022 season.

Jamieson does not play in any franchise T20 leagues but plays for the New Zealand domestic circuit. He has also played for New Zealand national cricket team in the past. He made his international debut for New Zealand in February 2020.

So far, Jamieson has played 16 Tests, 8 ODIs, and 8 T20Is for New Zealand. In Tests, he has picked 72 wickets in just 31 innings at an average of 19.46. He has also scored 372 runs in 22 innings with one half-century.
