LSG vs PBKS: Revealed – Who Are The Impact Players Nominated By LSG And PBKS In Match 21 Of IPL 2023

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are all set to clash against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on 15th April (*Saturday) at Lucknow. LSG would be booming with confidence after winning a thriller against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) against the run of play.

PBKS’ middle order was exposed against Gujarat Titans (GT). Apart from Shikhar Dhawan, the team need someone who can take responsibility for taking the team out of trouble. Sam Curran & Bhanuka Rajapaksa struggled a lot against both pacers & spinners.

LSG fans would be hoping that KL Rahul plays his natural game rather than getting into a shell. LSG though need to work on their bowling as the likes of Avesh Khan & Jaydev Unadkat were taken to the cleaners against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

LSG vs PBKS- Impact Players Nominated By LSG And PBKS

PBKS stand-in skipper Sam Curran won the toss and elected to bowl first. Sam Curran revealed why Shikhar Dhawan isn’t playing. Sam Curran pointed out that they want to experiment by bowling first. Sam Curran stated that they have made a couple of changes in their playing 11.

“We’ll bowl first. Something we haven’t done all season. Shikhar picked up an injury last game, don’t know how bad it is but hopefully he won’t be out long. His absence is huge, we’ve got two Indian batters coming in and Raza is back in the XI. The conditions looks good,” said Sam Curran

LSG skipper KL Rahul was quite excited to play on a new surface. KL Rahul stated that they are still trying to figure out their best playing 11. KL Rahul lauded the team’s spirit to come out from any precarious position. KL Rahul pointed out that the environment in the dugout is very good.

“First game on this strip, anything would have worked. It is exciting to challenge ourselves on different conditions. It is our first season here, so each game we’ll assess and modify. Every game we make a few changes, settle on a 12-13 and take a call depending on the game. Each game we have turned up and we have been challenged every time, but players have found answers. Everyone is enjoying the game and there is a good vibe around, really happy with the support we have got out here,” said KL Rahul.
