Faf du Plessis continued his brilliant run as he scored 44 runs in 40 balls and he surprisingly smashed only 1 four and 1 six. Faf was seen rotating the strike on a consistent basis as the rest of the batters couldn’t dictate the terms.

Kohli gestured that he won’t silence the fans like Gambhir did after the last match between the two sides. Last time, when these 2 teams clashed at Bengaluru, LSG defeated RCB and then Gautam Gambhir had made the same finger-on-the-lips gesture.

Crucial Phase for LSG

LSG would be aware of the fact that a partnership of 40-odd runs can put them in a state of ascendancy. It would be interesting to see what would be the approach of the likes of Nicholas Pooran & Marcus Stoinis on this uneven track.
