MI vs PBKS: WATCH - Sachin Gives Son Arjun Tendulkar MI Dressing Room POTM Award After His Performance Against SRH

Mumbai Indians (MI) all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar was awarded the team’s dressing room man of the match award after his match-winning performance in the 25th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
Arjun Tendulkar was one of the highlighted names after MI’s 14-run win against SRH in their 5th game of the tournament. The all-rounder bowled sensationally well and helped his side win their third consecutive win of the season.

Arjun took the new ball and swung it which made the opposition batter restrict their shots up front. He bowled decently well with the new ball and conceded just 14 runs in the first two overs that he bowled. His tight spell allowed Jason Behrendroff to attack more and pick wickets.

However, Arjun’s best cane when he asked to defend 20 runs in the last over. The left-arm pacer executed his plans well and bowled brilliant lines and lengths. He conceded just 5 runs in the over and also picked one wicket that handed MI their third win of the season.

After the game, Arjun was awarded the dressing room man of the match badge by the team management. However, what caught the attention of many was he received the badge from his father Sachin Tendulkar.

Notably, Sachin lauded his son for his performance on social media as well. He took his Twitter account and said that finally Tendulkar has a wicket in IPL.

Arjun Tendulkar also opened up about his last over against SRH after the game. He said that he planned to hit the bowl wide. Speaking at the post-match presentation, he said:
“My plan was to just bowl wide and get the batsmen hitting into the longer side. I was itching to bowl, yes. I love bowling and am happy to bowl any time. We [Sachin and him] talk a lot about cricket. We talk tactics and plans. I just focused on my release and the lengths I want to bowl. If it swings, it is a bonus; if it doesn’t, so be it.”
Arjun Tendulkar will be next seen in action when Mumbai Indians (MI) will take on Punjab Kings (PBKS) in their next match on Saturday (22nd April).
