Surprisingly Kyle Mayers didn’t bowl in this match. Kyle Mayers will have to provide a rollicking start for LSG.

Glenn Maxwell too played a breezy knock of 59 runs in 29 balls & smashed 6 huge sixes and 3 fours. RCB scored 108 runs in the last 7 overs which is massive & it won’t be wrong to say that it changed the complexion of the match.

LSG’s speedster Mark Wood was the pick of the bowlers who took 1 wicket & gave away 32 runs in his 4-over spell and astonishingly bowled a maiden over which is priceless.  Avesh Khan had terrible figures as he conceded 53 runs in his 4-over spell.

Mohammed Siraj was bowling the 1st over, Siraj made sure that he doesn’t give ample room to Kyle Mayers. On the 3rd delivery, Siraj bowled a short ball & Mayers tried to guide it towards the point direction but got a huge inside edge & crashed his off-stump. Kyle Mayers was dismissed for 0 runs in 3 balls & LSG’s score was 1-1 in 0.3 overs.

This breakthrough will give RCB immense confidence in defending the target. Mohammed Siraj has shown good control over his line & length. Skipper Faf du Plessis would be hoping that RCB pick a couple of more wickets in the power-play overs.

Exciting Contest on Cards

Chasing 213 at M Chinnaswamy is not a big task & given the fact that LSG can bat deep, it would be interesting to see how skipper Faf du Plessis uses his 4 seamers. The inclusion of Wayne Parnell can be a boost for RCB who bowls impeccable lines & lengths.
