Fans on Twitter reacted after Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) posted the highest-ever total in the Indian Premier League (IPL). They racked up a big score against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the 30th game of the tournament at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Sunrisers Hyderabad were asked to bat first and they pressed the 5th gear right from the start. Travis Head showed no mercy with the bat and made sure that he took bowlers to the cleaners right from the start at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Abhishek Sharma (34) supported him well as the duo added 108 runs for the opening partnership. After that Head (102) went on to slam a sensational century with the bat and took his team in the dominating position. Heinrich Klaasen (67) made a brutal contribution as RCB bowlers looked clueless at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

In the end, Aiden Markram (32*) and Abdul Samad (37*) made sure that they didn't waste the platform. The duo stitched together an unbeaten 56-run partnership as Sunrisers Hyderabad ended with a gigantic total of 287 runs on the board in the 30th game of the Indian Premier League 2024.

The total of 287 runs posted by the Sunrisers Hyderabad is the highest total by any team in the history of the league. They broke their record of 277 runs, which they achieved a few days back this season against Mumbai Indians at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

For Royal Challengers Bengaluru, every bowler went for an economy rate of over 10. Lockie Ferguson was the pick of the bowlers with his figures of 2/52. Apart from him only Reece Topley picked wickets whereas others failed to chip in with the ball at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
