Arjun Tendulkar, son of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, has started his preparations for the forthcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The left-arm pacer will be plying his trade for Mumbai Indians in the highly-anticipated IPL 2024.
Arjun Tendulkar finally made his IPL debut last year and managed to make a good impression. His ability to bowl at any stage of the game was praised by many. Overall, he played four games and picked up three wickets. The 24-year-old will be hoping for a better campaign in IPL 2024 and will be looking to cement his spot in the playing eleven.
While only time will tell how Arjun Tendulkar performs in IPL 2024, one can say that the preparations are going well for him. Mumbai Indians, on Tuesday (March 12), posted a video from the training session in which Arjun Tendulkar could be seen bowling a couple of toe-crushing yorkers. The batsman looked completely clueless as he was shaken by the yorker.

Arjun was last seen in action in competitive cricket in the Ranji Trophy. His last appearance came against Gujarat last month. Playing for Goa, he picked up 5 wickets in the game in addition to scoring 59 runs. A handy lower-order batter, he also scored half-centuries against Karnataka and Chandigarh.
Mumbai Indians eye fresh start:
Mumbai Indians will be eyeing a fresh start in IPL 2024 as they will be led by a new captain. For the first time since 2013, Rohit Sharma will not be in charge of the team as Hardik Pandya will be leading the five-time champions.
Having not qualified for the final since winning the title in 2020, Mumbai Indians decided to replace Rohit with Pandya ahead of IPL 2024. Pandya plied his trade for Gujarat Titans in the last two seasons and did a commendable job as a captain, leading the team to the title in 2022 and the final in 2023.
IPL 2024 is scheduled to get underway on March 22 with defending champions Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore locking horns against each other in the tournament opener. Mumbai Indians will be opening their campaign against Gujarat Titans on March 24.
