Shah’s parody account mentioned being in line for tickets, leading the veteran off-spinner to reply. In response, Shah’s account welcomed Ashwin to meet him anytime. Ashwin creatively replied with a meme featuring Laxman Sivaramakrishnan.
“Sir, have you not joined the PM’s rally in Kerala? Look forward to meeting u soon,” Ashwin wrote.

The 58-year-old claimed that Ashwin ignored his attempts to congratulate him on reaching 100 Tests. Sivaramakrisnan stated that Ashwin cut off his call and did not reply to his message. He highlighted the lack of respect he feels former cricketers receive.
“Tried calling him a few times to wish him for his 100th Test. Just cut off my call. Sent him a message, no reply. That’s the respect we former cricketers get,” Sivaramakrishnan replied to one of the tweets praising Ashwin.

Ravichandran Ashwin To Represent Rajasthan Royals In IPL 2024
Ravichandran Ashwin will next be seen in action during the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Tamil Nadu-born cricketer is set to represent the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2024. He has been a crucial member of the team since the 2022 season.
