Fans on Twitter reacted after Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) thumped Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the 30th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The 30th game of the tournament between the teams took place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
In a game where 549 runs were scored, Sunrisers Hyderabad emerged victorious by 25 runs. The Pat Cummins-led side displayed a brutal batting display after being asked to bat. They ripped through the Royal Challengers Bengaluru bowlers and ended up with the highest-ever total in the Indian Premier League.
Travis Head (102) racked up a brutal century with the bat, opening the innings. Heinrich Klaasen (67) then did further carnage on the Royal Challengers Bengaluru bowlers as Sunrisers Hyderabad took complete control of the game at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
In the end, Aiden Markram (32*) and Abdul Samad (37*) finished the innings on high with their unbeaten 56 runs partnership as Sunrisers Hyderabad ended with a gigantic total of 287 runs on the board in the 30th game of the Indian Premier League 2024.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru made sure that they gave their everything with the bat as they too came out all guns blazing. Virat Kohli (40) and Faf du Plessis (62) batted magnificently and added 80 runs for the opening wicket at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Even though they lost quick wickets after that, Dinesh Karthik (83) made sure that he fought till the very end. His valiant innings took the team to a total of 262 runs but failed to take the side to win. Royal Challengers Bengaluru fell short of 25 runs and bagged their 5th straight loss of the tournament.
