Fans on Twitter reacted after Delhi Capitals (DC) skipper Rishabh Pant slammed a magnificent half-century in the game against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The 12th game of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Visakhapatnam.

Rishabh Pant is well and truly back as he oozed his class back with the bat in the ongoing game against Chennai Super Kings. The keeper-batter struggled to get going in the first two games but made sure that he got back his rhythm and entertained his fans.

Rishabh Pant came to bat at No.3 when David Warner got out for 53 runs. The keeper-batter looked scratchy with the bat early on his innings and it seemed it would be another frustrating innings for him. But despite a poor start, he held his nerve and made sure he stayed there at the crease.

Rishabh Pant himself looked livid with the way he started. But once he had his eye in, it was old Rishabh Pant as he hit one-handed sixes and smashed the balls all over the park. What was the highlight of his innings was he even took Matheesha Pathirana to cleaners, who was looking threatening.

Rishabh Pant hit some brutal shots in his innings and made sure that he took his team to the big total on the board. The keeper-batter made Chennai Super Kings bowlers look clueless and made almost everyone stand and applaud him at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

Rishabh Pant brought up his first half-century of the season and ended with an innings of 51 runs off 32 balls. He batted with a strike rate of around 160 and also hit 4 fours and 3 sixes in his innings. His brutal innings powered Delhi Capitals to a total of 191 runs on the board.
