Revealed - Who are the impact players nominated by GT and PBKS for match 17 of IPL 2024?

Gujarat Titans (GT) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) are locking horns against each other in the 17th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024). The match is being played at GT's home ground, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

GT have won two of their first three games. They began their season with a six-run victory over five-time champions Mumbai Indians in their first game under new captain Hardik Pandya. However, their winning start to the season came to an end in the very next game with a crushing 63-run defeat against reigning champions Chennai Super Kings.

GT, however, did not take long to show why they are one of the most consistent teams in the IPL in recent times. They bounced back from the defeat with a thumping seven-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in their third game. Having won both of their home games so far, GT will be eyeing another win tonight

PBKS, on the other hand, have started their season with one win and two losses. The Shikhar Dhawan-led side has won its home game but has lost both of its away game so far. They began their season with a win over Delhi Capitals before losing to Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Lucknow Super Giants. Eyeing their first playoffs berth since 2014, PBKS will be desperate to get back to winning ways tonight.

Punjab Kings captain Shikhar Dhawan won the toss and opted to bowl first. Speaking at toss, the southpaw said: "We are gonna bowl first, I feel it's a good wicket and it will stay the same, we will prefer chasing. I don't think every game is gonna be like that, we will score runs."

"I think we are playing decent cricket, it's early days in the tournament, we are going to play better. Livi goes out and Sikandar Raza comes into the side," added Dhawan.

GT captain Shubman Gill said: "It looks like an even wicket. In the first year we played them, we played them twice. We have started off prretty well, games on the road are important. Last year, we played away from home. Miller missed out due to a niggle and Kane comes into the side."
