High-flying Rajasthan Royals will be up against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 19th game of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024). The RR vs RCB match is being played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

RR have started their season with three wins in a row and will be looking to extend their winning run tonight. They started the season with a 20-run win over Lucknow Super Giants before beating Delhi Capitals by 12 runs. In their last outing, they thrashed Mumbai Indians by six wickets after restricting the five-time champions for a modest total of 125/9.

With the momentum on their side, RR will be looking to make the most of it and win the game against RCB. As far as RCB are concerned, they are coming into this game with three defeats in their first two games. The Bengaluru-based outfit started their campaign with a loss against Chennai Super Kings before getting off the mark with a win over Punjab Kings.

However, they suffered defeats in their last two games and both the losses came at home. In their third game, they suffered a seven-wicket defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders before Lucknow Super Giants thrashed them by 28 runs. With just one win from four games, RCB will be desperate to turn things around and will be looking to beat RR.

RR vs RCB: Impact players

RR have won the toss and opted to field first. Speaking at toss, RR captain Sanju Samson said: "We would like to bowl first on this wicket. Something to do with the opposition, it's a fresh wicket, expecting some help for the seamers and expecting some dew as well. It's a long season, people are taking responsibility and finishing games. We are going in with the same team."

RCB captain Faf du Plessis said: "We were thinking of the same, it looks a good wicket, think it will remain the same in both the innings. We have one change in our batting line-up. For me it's just a case of trusting our guys. We have been inconsistent, we get an opportunity to do things better.

"We are trying to find the roles for the players, we are looking for that. That hasn't worked as yet. We haven't delivered," he added.
