Revealed: Why Liam Livingstone and David Miller are not playing today's IPL match and who have replaced them?

Gujarat Titans are welcoming Punjab Kings at their home ground for the 18th game of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2024). The Punjab-based outfit has won the toss and opted to bowl first as it looks to get back to winning ways.
PBKS began their season in IPL 2024 with a fine win over Delhi Capitals before suffering two losses in a row. They lost their second game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru before suffering another loss against Lucknow Super Giants. With two losses already in three games, PBKS will be desperate to get back to winning ways as they look to make it to the playoffs for the first time since 2014.
On the other hand, GT have started their campaign in IPL 2024 with two wins and a loss. In their first game of the season, the Shubman Gill-led side registered a thrilling six-run win over five-time champions Mumbai Indians. It was followed by a heavy 63-run defeat against champions Chennai Super Kings before they bounced back with an impressive 7-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad.
David Miller, Liam Livingstone miss GT vs PBKS clash:
While the game between GT and PBKS promises to be a cracking affair, it has already lost a bit of shine as two of the big names have missed out. GT will be without David Miller while PBKS will be without Liam Livingstone for the crucial game. Speaking at toss, both the captains confirmed the news and also revealed the reason behind the absence.
GT captian Shuman Gill said that Miller has missed out due to a niggle and has been replaced by Kane Williamson. The New Zealand star is set to play a game in the ongoing season for the first time and will be looking to prove his worth again.
"Miller misses out due to a niggle and Kane comes into the side," said Gill.
On the other hand, PBKS captain Shikhar Dhawan confirmed that Liam Livingstone has been replaced by Sikandar Raza. Livingstone seemed to have pulled up his hamstring while fielding in the last game and it could be the reason behind his absence.
