Virat Kohli Has Become A Sports Icon For Children And Youth - Anoop Srivastava
Anoop Srivastava, founder and director of the Jaipur Wax Museum, disclosed a year-long demand from tourists, notably children and youth, for a Virat Kohli statue.
Srivastava opted to address this demand by committing to create a wax figure of Kohli, following in the footsteps of cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni.
"Now that Virat has also become a sports icon for children and youth, what could be a better occasion than now when he has reached the highest level in world cricket, to install his wax statue. So, we also decided after batting great Sachin Tendulkar and former India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, a wax figure would be created for Virat," added Srivastava.
Weighing 35 kg and standing at 5 feet 9 inches, the statue epitomizes Virat's dynamic demeanor and stance. Fashioned by Bollywood designer Bodh Singh, the attire adds to the statue's allure and authenticity. This installation aligns with the museum's broader mission to showcase influential figures who can serve as sources of inspiration for generations to come.
the Jaipur Wax Museum currently showcases 44 wax figures, including iconic personalities such as Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Amitabh Bachchan. Among the esteemed figures are also renowned individuals like Mother Teresa, Sachin Tendulkar, and M.S. Dhoni.
Each wax figure at the museum boasts specially crafted sets, hand-painted backdrops, unique artifacts, and signature fragrances. Tourists from across India and beyond flock to the museum to capture cherished moments with their favorite stars' wax statues.
