While MS Dhoni does not really like to show emotions on the cricket field, he showed his humorous side by sharing a fun moment with his former IPL teammate Dwayne Bravo who is currently the bowling coach of Chennai Super Kings.

CSK continued their winning start in IPL 2024 with a thumping 63-run win over Gujarat Titans. The five-time IPL champions thoroughly outplayed the Titans to register their second win of the tournament. Asked to bat first, the Chennai-based outfit piled up a big total of 206 for 6 in the allotted 20 overs.

Shivam Dube continued his fine run for CSK in IPL and scored a brilliant 22-ball half-century while openers Rachin Ravindra (46) and Ruturaj Gaikwad (46) also played useful knocks. In reply, GT finished their innings on 143 for 8. The Shubman Gill-led side lost the wickets of both the openers inside the fifth over and did not recover from those setbacks.

They kept losing wickets at regular intervals and never really looked in contention to even challenge CSK let alone beat them. Sai Sudharsan (37) was the only GT player who managed to touch the 30-run mark with the bat.

MS Dhoni shares a fun moment with Dwayne Bravo:

With CSK registering a thumping victory, MS Dhoni looked in good spirits and decided to have some fun with Dwayne Bravo during the customary post-match handshakes. The CSK bowling coach was waiting for the players near the dugout.

Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad led the team out of the field and shook Bravo’s hands before going out of the field. Dhoni was just behind Gaikwad. As Bravo extended his hand, Dhoni hilariously refused to shake hands and scared the former West Indies allrounder by pretending to hit him.

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni did not get the chance to bat in the second game of IPL 2024 as well. However, it did not stop him from making his presence felt. The 42-year-old took a fine diving catch behind the stumps to send back Vijay Shankar.
