Virat Kohli had a hilarious reaction after Faf du Plessis was hit on the box in the ongoing game between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

The incident took place when the RCB skipper was facing his SRH counterpart Faf du Plessis in the final over of the powerplay. It was a short of a length delivery from Cummins and du Plessis got inside the line before trying to play a shot behind square. However, he was beaten by the pace and the ball went on to hit him on the box.

Du Plessis looked in pain straightaway as he crouched down. Virat Kohli, however, saw the funny side of the incident. As du Plessis looked towards him, the former RCB skipper could not hold his laughter. Fortunately, du Plessis did not suffer any injury and was able to stand up soon to resume his innings.

Talking about the game, RCB were on 95 for 1 in the eighth over at the time of writing this report. Faf du Plessis and Will Jacks were batting in the middle for the home side. Du Plessis was batting on 47 off 22 balls while Jacks was on 6. Du Plessis and Virat Kohli shared an 80-run stand for the first wicket before the latter was dismissed by Mayank Markande for 42.

RCB are chasing an improbable 288 to win the ongoing game. After being asked to bat first, SRH piled up a record total of 287/3 in the allotted 20 overs. They beat their own record for the highest-ever IPL total. Earlier this season, SRH had scored 277/3 against Mumbai Indians to break RCB's record for highest IPL total.

Travis Head scored a stunning 39-ball century for SRH before Heinrich Klaasen slammed 67 runs off 31 balls. Aiden Markram and Abdul Samad then shared an unbeaten 56-run stand in just 18 balls to help SRH finish their innings strong.
